This page explains what Rajput Driving School collects on this website and when you sign up for lessons, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and how you can see, fix or delete it.
The short version
The owner of Rajput Driving School is responsible for how we handle your personal information. Questions, requests and complaints about your privacy go to the owner:

Online, we only get what you type into a form or the chat, plus the technical details every website sees, like your IP address and browser. At your lessons we also keep a few records, listed below.
Your name, email, phone number, message and an optional subject. It's emailed to our inbox so we can reply, and we send you a confirmation that quotes the start of your message.
The appointment page and the booking form on our home page ask for your name, email, phone number, driver's licence number and a message. We use them to get back to you and set up your lesson. We ask for your licence number because you need a valid licence (G1 or higher) to drive with an instructor.
The appointment page also asks for the service you want, a pickup address and a preferred date and time, so we can plan your lesson.
Your first and last name, email, phone number, date of birth, Ontario driver's licence number, home address, the course you chose and any notes you add. We use them to enroll you, schedule your lessons, confirm who you are and that you're eligible, and, for the BDE course, meet the Ministry of Transportation's rules (see below).
Your name, email, phone number, the position, your experience, which licence you hold, your message and your resume, used only to consider you for the job. They're emailed to our inbox with your resume attached. Our server also saves a temporary copy, which is cleared whenever the website is updated or restarted.
The chat is an AI assistant run by Chatbase. It loads on every page, so Chatbase sees your IP address and the page you're on even if you never open it. What you type goes to Chatbase so it can answer, and we can read past chats in our Chatbase account. Chatbase uses an AI company's model to write its answers, so your messages pass through that company too. Chatbase's privacy policy says it doesn't use this data to train AI models. Please keep private details like your licence number out of the chat.
Your G1 practice test progress stays in your own browser. It isn't sent to us.
At your first lesson we ask for an emergency contact's name and phone number. If you take the BDE course, we also ask for your gender and a copy of your driver's licence, because the Ministry of Transportation needs them (see below), and we keep your class and in-car record sheets and test results.
Like most websites, our server logs each visit: your IP address, the page address and your browser, including the text you type for address suggestions.
We don't sell your information. These companies handle it for us:
Google also uses some data from our Analytics and Ads tags for its own purposes. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Most of these companies keep information in the United States. While it's there, courts, police and national security agencies in that country can get access to it under their laws.
If you take our Beginner Driver Education (BDE) course, Ontario's rules for driving schools (O. Reg. 473/07) require us to:
Our pages use a few tools from other companies. Some set cookies (small files in your browser) or read your IP address and device details.
Shows us how the site is used: the pages you visit, how far you scroll, links you click to other sites, downloads, video plays, searches on our site, and when you start or send a form. It also sees your approximate location and device type. Google signals, which links visits to signed-in Google accounts, is off.
Shows us whether our ads work. It counts page visits and clicks on our Send Message and Submit buttons, and a cookie remembers if you arrived from one of our ads. If you did, our phone number may show as a Google forwarding number. It rings through to us, and Google records details such as the call's time, length and your area code. We haven't added a remarketing tag, the kind that follows you to other sites with our ads.
Our Google Analytics and Google Ads settings allow Google to pick up an email address, phone number or home address typed into our forms, scramble it (hash it) and send it to Google to match with a Google account or ad click. A hashed copy is still personal information. Blocking Google's tags in your browser stops it, and the Analytics opt-out add-on below stops the Analytics part.
Google's reCAPTCHA spam check protects our forms. It loads as soon as most pages open; on the homepage it loads only when you press Sign Up for the newsletter. It looks at your browser and device to tell people from bots and sends what it finds to Google, which also uses it to improve reCAPTCHA and for security. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. YouTube videos on some route pages and blog posts load from youtube.com when the page opens, so YouTube can set cookies even if you don't press play. Stripe uses cookies on the registration page to help stop fraud.
Windsor Road Notes is one email a month with driving tips and the occasional note about our courses. Here's how sign-ups work:
Many of our students are 16 or 17. If you're under 18, our Terms and Conditions ask a parent or guardian to agree to your enrollment, so they'll know what you've signed up for and may see your booking and payment details. We may talk with them about scheduling and payment. You can still contact us yourself about your own information.
Our website isn't meant for children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has sent us their information, tell us and we'll delete it.
Companies like Stripe and Google may also keep their own copies for longer, under their own rules and legal duties.
No website can promise perfect security, but here's what we do:
Please keep your licence number and date of birth out of the chat and ordinary emails. Our registration and booking forms are the place for them.
If someone ever gets into our records and it could seriously harm you, we'll tell you as soon as we can, directly whenever we have your contact details, and report it to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as the law requires.
Email, call or write to us using the details at the top of this page. We'll tell you what we have about you, what we've used it for and who we've shared it with, and we'll fix anything that's wrong. It's free, and we'll answer within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.
You can also ask us to delete your information. We'll delete it from our inbox, our Resend and Chatbase accounts and our own records, and remove the extra registration details from Stripe. We have to keep payment and BDE training records for the periods listed above. We can't remove one person from our server logs or website statistics, so those clear on their own schedule.
You can take back your consent any time. Here's what that means:
Want this page on paper? Ask by email or phone and we'll send you a copy.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell the owner first using the details at the top of this page. We'll look into it and tell you what we've done. If you're still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
The date at the top shows when we last changed this page. If we ever want to use your information in a new way, we'll tell you first and ask where needed. Want an older version? Email us and we'll send it.
